Recent regulatory requirements now require members to sign a consent form to participate in overdraft protection (Courtesy Overdraft) plans for ATM and everyday debit card transactions. Courtesy Overdraft protects your checking account when you don't have enough funds in your checking account to cover a retail transaction. Please note that you do not need to sign the form to continue Courtesy Overdraft for checks, ACH items, online bill payments or previously authorized recurring debit card transactions.
An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but we pay it anyway. We can cover your overdrafts in two different ways:

We pay overdrafts at our discretion, which means we do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction. If we do not authorize and pay an overdraft, your transaction will be declined.
