COVID-19 Emergency Response
General Information for Consumers and Businesses
Branch Access Information:
Effective Monday, March 23, all community offices of JVB will provide banking services at the drive-thru only. All lobbies will be closed. Community offices with no drive-thru will be closed. This includes the Mifflintown (on the square in Mifflintown), Wal-Mart (Lewistown), Richfield, and Main Street Port Allegany Offices. The safety of our customers and employees is of utmost importance. These measures will help prevent the spread of COVID-19 while maintaining essential banking services to our communities.
Personal service is still available for new deposit accounts, loan applications (please apply online if possible: Home Mortgage or Home Equity / Vehicle / Personal), Trust services or Wealth Management appointments, or safe deposit box access. Please, contact our Customer Care Center at 1-855-582-5101 to arrange for an appointment.
Mifflintown Office customers are recommended to use the Mt. View Office at 4068 William Penn Highway, Mifflintown. Wal-Mart customers are recommended to visit the Monument Square Office on the square in Lewistown. Richfield Office customers are recommended to use either the McAlisterville, Liverpool, or Millerstown Offices—depending on your location. Downtown Port Allegany Office customers are recommened to use the Lillibridge Place Office on West Mill Street, Port Allegany.
Special Services during the Crisis:
The following services are being offered during the COVID-19 emergency:
- Increased, individualized daily JVB debit card spending limits for qualifying customers
- Waived penalties for early CD withdrawals up to $15,000
- Increased, individualized remote deposit limits for qualifying customers
- Options for payment relief on mortgages, home equity or personal loans, and small business loans, based on need
Now is the perfect time to adopt a remote form of banking, if possible. Here are some suggestions:
Online and mobile banking are great tools for remote banking. Virtually all transactions that would normally be taken care of in a branch setting can be accomplished through online and mobile banking. It is easy to register! Download our app or visit www.jvbonline.com and look for the New User link. If you need assistance, please call JVB Customer Care at 855-582-5101 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Use of your debit card for purchases is highly recommended to avoid handling cash, which is known to be a transmitter of germs. If you need cash, we recommend visiting one of our ATMs which remain available 24/7 or utilizing the “cash-back” feature that is generally available on the PIN pad during a retail purchase—especially at grocery and big box stores.
All ATMS, with the exception of the Liverpool ATM, accept deposits.
24-Hour Phone Banking is another great option for remote banking. Available 24/7 from any phone, handy access to your JVB accounts is provided through our automated voice response bank-by-phone service. Get all the details on our 24-hour phone banking web page.
Night Deposit Information:
All night deposit services remain the same with these exceptions: Items placed in the Port Allegany Office Night Deposit prior to 3:00 pm will process on that business day. Items placed in the Lillibridge Office Night Deposit prior to 4:00 pm will process on that business day. The Richfield Night Deposit will not be available for banking transactions.

*ATM is available at the Path Valley Family Restaurant at the intersection of PA Route 75 and Spring Run Road, Spring Run, PA. ATM service is cash only; no deposits.
♦Walmart Offfice ATM service is cash only; no deposits.
**Cash only; no deposits at the Richfield Office ATM. No deposits at the Richfield Office Night Depository will be accepted during the COVID-19 emergency.
♦♦Lillibridge drive-thru has extended hours Monday-Friday from 8:30-5:30. Saturday hours are normal 10:00-noon.
JVB 2020 Annual Spring Food Drive
JVB's annual food drive will be held from March 14-29, 2020.
We invite everyone to join us in donations of non-perishable food, paper products, toiletries, baby care items and pet supplies for our community. So many do not have enough to keep food on the table. Let's join together as a community to help each other!
For everyone's convenience, each branch of JVB is a donation drop-off location during regular banking hours for that location.
To support the food drive, JVB will make a monetary donation to local food pantries of $0.25 for each item donated, up to $2000!

With that in mind and due to a recent escalation in debit card fraud, JVB Visa® Debit Card customers currently using a magnetic stripe card, are receiving a new, more secure, JVB Visa® Debit Card with computer chip technology to better safeguard your debit transactions. You may begin using your new, more secure, JVB Visa® Debit Card immediately. Your new card comes attached to an information sheet with instructions for how to use your new card, safety tips for your card, and safety tips for your PIN (Personal Identification Number).
